Five Award Winning Reasons to be at Mosaic this Summer…
1. It’s uplifting for you and helps you re-center your life in Christ. Remember that no one can run this race alone!
2. There are people who need YOU, your help and encouragement. As you invest in others, you’ll find that later (sometimes the same day) you’ll “reap what you sow”. God designed us to be encouraged spiritually as we give to others.
3. Your kids are watching. “More lessons in life are caught than taught.” Odds are very high that they’ll allow Christ to be central in their lives if you guide them towards spiritual priorities. If you leave your spiritual journey (including church) at the bottom of the list, don’t be surprised if faith drops further on their list as they grow up.
4. People who are spiritual seekers are coming every week. How can they experience a faith community if a large number of people don’t bother to come? Visitors always arrive fifteen minutes early; members 15-30 minutes late. That 30 minute gap deeply affects the visitor impression of how we value our faith and church family.
5. We can only fulfill our mission to impact our city with a dedicated membership. No sports or business team can function with members who show up at random. Since we believe that God’s kingdom is the most important thing, let’s show it in our actions this summer of 2008!
