The Harambe was a blast!

Dear Mosaic family and visitors-

some of our Mosaic Congolese familiesMosaic African Dancers!

If you missed the Harambe- so sorry for you!  Costumes, dancing, music, drums, and so much energy!  Looks like this will be a tradition for the years ahead. It matches the Mosaic culture- valuing many nations, lots of love, lots of fun, pitching in together to get the job done!  It was great to honor all the people who serve within our church family.

In a few weeks we’ll celebrate Thanksgiving with a two part series called, “Gathering all the Pieces”.  You’ll have a chance to participate this year on thanksgiving; more than just eating a lot- you can help guide yourself and others towards a deep heart gratefulness for God’s care and provision in our lives.  Be sure to catch Sunday November 16- it will prepare you to participate November 23.

Happy November!

Harambe this Sunday!

What’s a harambe?  Many of you know that one of our staff members- Jon-e Schwandt, grew up in Kenya- he told us about this great African concept.  If there is a big project to be done, everyone would pitch in and work together, and make it a party!  By working together we build community and the job goes easier!

So this Sunday (October 26) we’ll enjoy African dance, special food and highlight all the fantastic teams who make Mosaic happen.

Ed Keegan continues the series titled “You are Here” (how to live and serve in the four arenas of your life).

Special thanks to Karen Keegan and Keith Woodbridge- your real-life stories of how to blend faith and work were very helpful.  Thanks for getting up in front of everyone (not easy!) and sharing.

See you this week!
