Water Baptism at Summer Camp: September 5
- If you have not been water baptized since choosing to become a Christ-follower, this is an important declaration of your faith. The Bible instructs us to be water baptized as a step in our obedience to Christ (Acts 2:38).
- Children from age 7 and up are welcome if they have an understanding of what it means to follow Christ and upon approval by Mosaic Children’s Pastor, Eric Brown.
- Further questions about the theology of water baptism may be directed to Mosaic elders, Joe Hancock (hancockfive@rochester.rr.com) and Eric Brown (eric@mosaicrochester.com).
- TIME: Arrive by 7:45 am on Sunday, September 5, at LeTourneau’s Dining Hall for the required Baptism Instruction session during breakfast. Baptism held after breakfast in the Lake Swim area at 9:15 am.
- BRING: Towels, Swim Suit and cover-up, or modest clothing for the water.

Child Dedications
- Mosaic offers parents the opportunity to have their children dedicated at a ceremony either during or after the Sunday morning worship celebrations.
- We now have a list of dates available on a “first come first served” basis from September – December.

JUNE 27 ONTIC After church, Mosaic’s youth group of 7th – 12th graders headed to the Teitsworths’ place in Mumford for an afternoon of games, food, hiking, horseback riding, and a hot-air balloon ride!
JUNE 27 VOTE on 2010-11 BUDGET During the Sunday morning service, Mosaic members affirmed the proposed budget for the 2010-11 fiscal year. Pledge forms were also collected.

MARCH 21 Special Guest Speaker, CLARK BARNARD Clark Barnard, founder/director of YWAM Iquitos in Peru, shared on two great leaders in history: Sir Ernest Shackleton (Antarctic explorer) and the young slave girl who served an army captain (story found in the book of Judges in the Bible). MARCH 19-20 MOSAIC LEADERSHIP RETREAT Current active-duty team leaders gathered at LeTourneau Christian Retreat Center for a weekend retreat. Special guest speaker, Clark Barnard, used principles found in the book Shackleton’s Way to encourage and equip Mosaic leaders. Joe Hancock facilitated strategic planning sessions for Mosaic’s missional effectiveness.

To help families prepare for a peaceful Christmas season, the Kidz.Comm staff sponsored another Kidz’ Night! Parents got a Friday night free for holiday shopping or a date! At the same time, X-Stream kids painted banners of their new logo! What a night!

2) A special song will be performed by Mosaic’s band and 11 vocalists entitled, “Skeleton Bones.”
3) PUSH PHYSICAL THEATRE performs the piece “Grace” during the service. Often when grace is most present in our lives, we are most oblivious to it. Accepting help, whether from mentors, strangers, or of a more spiritual kind, can be a humbling and sometimes difficult experience. A simple act of kindness is a powerful thing.
4) An EASTER EGG HUNT will be held for all kids 5 years old through 4th grade!
